Pebble Home & Lifestyle began with one fashion-obsessed woman and her life-long dream of opening her own shop. Fast-forward 13 years (lucky for some!) and Clare has grown Pebble from a small boutique selling jewellery and up-cycled home accessories to being a go-to hub for prestigious European fashion and design.

What are your biggest fashion influences?

CC: As you may be able to tell from the clothes we stock at Pebble, I love European fashion. The styling and silhouettes of Scandi fashion in particular has always been a major influence for me. I really enjoy fashion that plays with proportions and puts a little twist on classic shapes and styles.

What are you reaching for most in your wardrobe at the moment?

CC: I can't get enough of my oversized blazers. There's something about the combination of a tailored piece with a relaxed, slouchy fit that I find so effortless. The Leontine Black Check Blazer we've got in at the moment is a great example of this. Throw it on over a bodysuit and jeans and you've instantly got an elevated look that can take you from the school drop-off, to the office, to after-work drinks.

Top fashion tip?

CC: I would say it always pays to invest in good quality basics to create a capsule wardrobe you can depend on.

What fashion trend can you not get enough of right now?

CC: I'm obsessed with casual is the new smart. Any excuse to wear my slouchy, comfy clothes to meetings!

If you could have anyone's wardrobe in the world, whose would you have?

CC: I would kill for Olivia Palermo's wardrobe. She's got this perfect combo of stripped back elegance paired with more unusual, talking point pieces. One can only dream of being able to dress like a socialite! Oh, I've just remembered that Blake Lively exists... another masterclass in tailoring and effortless glamour. Can I have her wardrobe too? Pretty please!

Figure-hugging or oversized?
CC: Oversized... but I often can't resist a tight-fitting top with baggy trousers. Dreamy!

Chunky boots or heels?
CC: Chunky boots, no question.

Wool or cashmere?
CC: Wool... with a little cashmere blend thrown in if I'm being cheeky!

Jeans or sweatpants?
CC: Jeans that fit like sweatpants.

Just finished 'Yellowface' by R. F. Kuang which I absolutely loved. I'm addicted to my Kindle. I'm working my way through Reese Witherspoon's book club picks and devoured all of Ruby Wax's books recently as well!
